They’re still at it. They lie to the Canadian people about how Canada owes money -all debt is invention as no currency has value since none of it is based upon any actual holdings of value- so they could increase retirement age and stop all pension payments to the elderly. Now they once again are crying about how they must shut-down the C.B.C. -bringing the Fox Faux News North is fine by them- the C.B.C. likes to poke fun at stupid Stephen Harper. So now they are continuing to lie to the Canadian people and it is only going to get worse.

The Friends of Canadian Broadcasting are worried about this and have begun a campaign. It is doubtful that it will make any difference since the Masters of the Conservative Party do not reside in Canada or have any interest in the Canadian People.

Just hours after the House of Commons resumed on Monday the attacks started anew.

With encouragement from their colleagues, three Conservative MPs stood in their places earlier this week and tabled petitions calling for the de-funding of the CBC.

This latest episode of hostility follows a long list of attacks on our CBC from the Prime Minister and his party – floating the idea of cutting our CBC by more than $100 million in the upcoming federal budget. The consequences of a cut of this magnitude would be devastating.

But, even in the darkest hour there is a ray of hope.

For the CBC, that ray of hope is you and millions of other citizens who love the CBC and understand the importance of public broadcasting as a force for Canadian sovereignty, culture and democracy.

We must stand together to defend our national public broadcaster. I am writing to ask you to make a special investment in our Countdown Fund.

We are pulling out all the stops as we count the days to the federal budget – which we expect will be tabled in Parliament at the end of February or the beginning of March.

We have only a few weeks to show this government how much the CBC means to us and to the country.

Already, we are having an impact.
We have just completed a major direct connect program where we linked public broadcasting supporters by telephone to their Conservative MPs’ constituency offices. We connected thousands of people to dozens of Conservatives MPs. The message was simple: “keep your election promise to maintain or increase CBC funding”.

You did not receive a call because we focused this program in key Conservative-held ridings only.

The connect program came on top of the release of a national public opinion survey which shows strong support for our CBC coast to coast to coast and the Stop the CBC Smackdown campaign which had a big impact in Ottawa. An indicator of our success is the absence of the usual attacks on the CBC in the latest Conservative Party fundraising appeal.

But we’ve got to keep up the pressure.

That’s why I am writing to ask for your investment in the Countdown Fund. We are too close to the bottom of our war chest at the very moment when we must make a final push. Please help us to stand up for our national public broadcaster.

The N.D.P. are solely responsible for this Conservative Majority -along with apathetic voters-, remember that the Conservative Freaks have a base of individuals that have the virus of Religion in their programming. They have no ability to think for themselves as they ascribe to the true purpose of all Religion -not Spiritual Growth that comes from within but external control that comes from without-. They will mindlessly obey their preachers when it comes to voting or killing or anything. Will their Pride lapse to the extent that they will accept responsibility for what has happened to Canada? Will they merge with the Liberal Party to create the New Liberal Party so we can again restore Law and Order to Canada? Only time will tell.

Soon there will be only two political parties in Canada. The New Liberal Party and the New Global Communist Party. All other parties will merge and the Conservative Party will go and join its previus incarnation -The Reform Party- after they lose a massive class-action lawsuit on behalf of all 14 and 15 year-old youth from the time the illegal age of sexual consent increase and many other illegal ammendments added to the criminal code are srtipped as well as the thousands of other innocent victims targeted by these Conservative Religious Fundamentalist Perverts -fear of Human sexuality and expression is one of the most severe sexual perversions-.
