Hugo Chavez: Hero to the people and an example for the world

Hugo Chavez has begun to take steps that must serve as an example to the future leaders of the world. His honesty is refreshing and the United Venezuelan Socalist Party will prove to be the catalyst of Bolivarian destiny throughout all of Latin America. Today we see a story in Canoe that shows how it is possible to control the callous profit mongering of corporations. Too many corporations have been permitted to concentrate on profits – their only reason for existing – to the detriment of the communities they used to grow and exploit for these profits, for too long. To examine such despicable acts as corporations that close factories and lay off thousands of workers – such as Bombardier in Canada ( only to rely on an exported cheaper labour market for greater profits ). – Originally the founding fathers of the United States felt the same way towards corporate profit mongering. What happened to these honest views?

The fact that corporations exist strictly for profit is not something that should be ended. They do contribute to the countries that they operate in and therefore are entitled to their right to conduct business. It is neccessary that the growth of corporations be subjected to profit regulation within their mandates in order to ensure that too much profit can and will prove to be a bad thing. Corporate responsiblity must be included in their mandates. Corporate profit capping is an excellent way to ensure that these corporate entities are obligated to contribute to the communities they rely on for these profits. Corporate entities will accept that their ability to glean profits must be curtailed for the greater good of the communities that they serve in this time of globalization. Corporate profit capping will introduce a maximum level of profit permitted for corporations to retain – all profit above this level must be directly reinvested to their local communities -. In the world of corporations it is important to force a degree of social responsibility. There will still be profits to be had in the future, but not the excessive profits at the cost of their fellow human beings.

So let us all look to Hugo Chavez and laud his great accomplishments and the United Venezuelan Socalist Party. May they survive the subversive machinations of the United States of America to become the light that illuminates the world.
